Lead Game Programmer

As a Lead Game Programmer, you will be managing a team of programmers, responsible for the whole code of a game, in particular: gameplay, AI, animations, GUI, scripts, tools, and many others. Quality of the game code, as well as usability and universality of your team’s solutions will be your goals to achieve. You will have to build a team which will allow you to make best game in the world.

Responsibilities:

• Planning work on the code
• Developing solutions to be implemented in game
• Code review and evaluation
• Programming
• Interviews with candidates

Required skills & experience:

• Perfect knowledge of the craft: C++ language, object-oriented programming, software design
• Experience in managing programmers, particularly in big, finished and released game projects
• Broad knowledge of any game development field, and in particular: deep knowledge of gameplay and AI related topics
• Ability to estimate the size of tasks
• Ability to review and evaluate the code
• Fluent English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with game consoles
• Ability to optimize the code
