RED in Japan

Paweł from CD Projekt RED presents The Witcher 2 on a Japanese TV show

The Japanese release of The Witcher 2 is getting closer and closer. A two-person team from CD Projekt RED left for Tokyo last week to show the game to the players, who will be able to play it on August 23rd.

Aga and Paweł are spaming us with pics and news from Japan (and yes, I’m jealous). So here’s a sneak preview of their trip. I hope they’ll write more themselves, when they get back to sunny Warsaw.

A geek’s paradise. Batman socks rock!

And we also know, that Famitsu – Japan’s largest gaming magazine gave The Witcher 2 a  ”Platinum” score. This is the highest note in their scale. Here are two pics from an earlier preview of the game (for those who can read Japanese):

Guys, make all screen clickable, will you? What is the point of making nice Tokyo photo when it is 200×200 ?
Good on you for releasing in Japan and getting nice Famitsu score. The more game sells the better.

You spell it “spamming” instead of “spaming” :)

i really hope, next witcher will have some sort of an open world…
so after you finish the game, you can continue playing, do some quests (kill, find etc), move to any location, where you’ve been. e.g. Assassin’s creed.
    it’ll be awesome =)
